    Since qualifying with Merit in Clinical Dentistry from Newcastle University in 2012, Sophie has gone on to gain a number of postgraduate qualifications. Most notably from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and from Manchester University where she was awarded a Distinction for her Masters degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. Sophie’s dedication has won her several clinical and academic accolades including recognition from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the prestigious John Hopkins award from Newcastle University. She has presented her academic work at both regional and national levels. Sophie also holds a part-time position as a tutor for other dentists studying towards their Masters degrees at the University of Warwick.

    Sophie’s passion for dentistry is evident in her enthusiastic and friendly approach to her work. Her calm, confident and gentle manner has enabled her to build a reputation for putting anxious patients and children at ease. She has completed many cosmetic treatments to date including teeth whitening. Sophie believes prevention is the best cure and enjoys working alongside her patients to be proactive and identifying problems before they occur. She keeps up-to-date with all the latest developments in her field, allowing her to offer the most advanced options and tailor treatment plans for each individual person. Sophie also holds memberships with numerous dental organisations including the British Dental Association, the British Society of Periodontology and the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.

    Outside dentistry, Sophie enjoys live music, skiing and triathlons.
